Dennings was in a relationship with Nick Zano from 2011-2014, she was her co-star on "2 Broke Girls". She started dating Josh Groban after their breakup. In 2016, they were remaining together. Dennings as well as Andrew W.K. met in the beginning of 2021. After a short time, the two began to meet and by the end of May of 2020 announced their wedding. Dennings has been a fan of music since 2014, was Dennings's first love. Dennings is a Jew who was raised in a Jewish family. Dennings has stated that although she has been brought up Jewish however, religion did not play a major role in her daily life.
