Sharon Yvonne Stone, born on March 10, 1958, from Meadville (Pennsylvania) was the daughter of Dorothy Lawson, a former employee at a factory as well as Joseph William Stone, a tool maker and die maker. Michael, Kelly, Patrick and Dorothy Lawson are her three siblings. Stone is a gifted student in the classroom as young children, began her second-grade education at age five. In 1975, she graduated from Saegertown high school located in Saegertown (Pennsylvania). She was also a contestant for the Miss Pennsylvania beauty pageant, which she won Miss Crawford County. Stone relocated to New Jersey in 1977 with her aunt in order to explore a career as models. In just a few months, she signed up with Ford Modeling Agency. After one year of modeling between Milan and Paris and then moving to Europe. Stone, however, became dissatisfied with the acting and modeling in Europe. Stone decided to keep her acting career going acting as a model while she was in Europe. Stone was a 20-year-old in Woody Allen's "Stardust Memories," the film which got mixed praises.
