Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd began her journey in combat sports at the age of 14. Aspen Ladd was trained in kickboxing, BJJ, boxing and wrestling prior to making her amateur debut at WCFC at the age of 18. Ladd gained momentum from this victory and then went on to a three-fight winning streak at Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents in the opening round of all fights. She then went back to WCFC to beat Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen took on Silvia Babaeghian, and Maddy Simmons before fighting Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9. Cynthia lost to Aspen in a unanimous vote. This put a stain on the amateur record of Ladd. Ladd returned from her defeat by defeating Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, bringing her record up to 8-1. Aspen made her debut with Invicta FC in 2015 to start her professional career. Invicta 11 saw her slay Ana Carolina Vidal to score one of the fight's TKOs in the initial round. Invicta Fc16 was Aspen's debut fight as a bantamweight. She defeated Amanda Cooper with an armbar submission during the second round. Aspen made use of her superlative wrestler skills to knock down McGill and then ended the fight with a the third round TKO(elbows or punches). Aspen then faced Jessica Hoy, at Invicta FC 18. She fought Hoy as the catchweight (138.1lb), because Ladd didn't make weight. Aspen still dominated Hoy until she finished her with a TKO. In her last bout for Promotion, she beat Sijara Ebanks with a unanimous win in Invicta FC 21. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut in UFC Fight Night 118 against Lina Lansberg. She dominated Lina by a ground and pound victory during the 2nd Round. In her second fight, she was able to defeat Tonya Evinger more convincingly. Ladd beat Evinger by a punch in the first round. She also earned a Performance of the Night bonus. Sijara Eubanks of Invicta FC was her opponent for a rematch at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against Lee. It was the fighter's first big fight. The two fighters had an intense battle that concluded with Ladd winning via unanimous decision and both fighters getting one of the Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie stopped Ladd in 16-seconds to break her losing streak. At the end of round three on UFC at ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. For a rematch, she fought Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. The decision was made unanimously against her.
